St Jerome, Priest and Doctor of the Church
St Jerome was a priest, biblical scholar and translator who devoted his life to studying and explaining Sacred Scripture. His work greatly contributed to the Church's understanding and transmission of the Bible. The Church celebrates his memorial on 30 September.
Daily Reflection
Following Christ requires commitment and perseverance. Jesus calls us not to look backward but to move forward with faith. St Jerome's dedication to Sacred Scripture reminds us that knowing God's Word should transform how we live. Today, let us renew our commitment to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
